Bio

I'm a seafood cookbook author and podcaster, speaker, and food and nature photographer.

Things I believe about the future of our planet:

  • We can change the course of our future, one person and action at a time.
  • Our actions on land impact the oceans.
  • Our actions in the ocean impact our growing global population.
  • Aquaculture is a solid sustainable solution to supply a high-quality protein for our growing global population.

On April 13, 2016, I published, "Salmon From Market To Plate: when you want to eat salmon that is good for you and the oceans." This part history, part narrative-driven cookbook is geared toward conscientious cooks who want to enjoy a sustainable salmon kitchen.

My second cookbook proposal (aquaculture) is complete and I am seeking representation.

My current WIP, The Fish Thieves, is a dystopian fiction.

In January 2017, I launched the podcast, "Green Fish Blue Oceans, where stories about seafood are good for you and the oceans."
  • S1 features an A-Z series with a focus on sustainable seafood and ocean challenges.
  • S2 is about all things aquaculture.
